Environmental change anyone can be a part of

The Urban Rewild Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to taking practical, hands-on steps to bring nature and the wild back into urban environments. Their initiatives begin with small-scale urban soil healing and habitat creation through homeowners. They are working to reframe the mindset of how people manage their small part of the earth, and help them understand the impact they have is a measurable and significant on many levels.

By combining direct environmental restoration efforts with community engagement and awareness campaigns, The Urban Rewild Project strives to create lasting, positive impacts on ecosystems and the people who depend on them (all of us).

People power the change our environment needs

The Urban Rewild Project is driven by environmental enthusiasts, volunteers, and community members who understand small steps lead to massive impact. Our team works across the city to plant trees, restore micro ecosystems, and empower communities with sustainable solutions – but real impact happens when more people get involved.

Ways to Get Involved: Subscribe, learn how to make an impact where you live, volunteer for local initiatives, partner with us and our efforts, support projects, share our mission in your community, and spread the word.

"I go to nature to be healed and calmed, and to have my senses put in order."

— John Burroughs (1837–1921)
